This was a special project for us as our neighbors hired us to renovate their historic kitchen in Old Torrance. The desire was to improve and update the space to glorious and functional without losing its charm, so as to blend the new spaces with the old.
We started by choosing a palate of bright white and black— a true classic palette. The counters were selected in Paperstone—a beautiful hardy recycled material which could withstand heat and cleaning. Oil rubbed bronze fixtures, hardware and cup pulls gave a touch of impact against all the white. The farmhouse sink, double hung windows, bead board and shaker style cabinets kept things feeling nice and traditional.
