This was a design that focused on the styling and installing of a client’s antique collection in her living and dining rooms and entry. The spaces had become overrun with all of her special finds and she commissioned Space Case Design to reorganize, curate and install selected pieces thought out the open space plan.
We did purchase two new matching sofas in a soft gray to keep the room feeling light. A Persian rug was used in that setting along with boudoir inspired Chinese poster art. At the back of the sofa we grouped together her collection of antique footstools and flanked them next to a small console topped with a tiger sculpture.
The extensive apothecary jar collection was grouped and displayed in the dining hutch and in the floor to ceiling library. One our our favorite elements here are the siamese cats figurines at play around the room and at the fireplace mantle. They add a fun and whimsical element to this eclectic space and pay homage to the brother siamese cats that reside at the home.
